Kyubey offers to transform you into a Magical Girl and give you superpowers on the condition that you fight witches and also get rid of certain 6 other Magical Girls who have been a thorn on Kyubey's side for a while now. Once you've gotten rid of all 6 of them, Kyubey will tell you what happened to your boyfriend...

When you do kill the six Magical Girls, Kyubey tells you what really happened: Your boyfriend couldn't come to the date because he DIED! Hit by a car, to be precise. With Kyubey's part of the bargain held, you must now continue to fight witches alone for the rest of your life. ENJOY YOUR HAPPY ENDING!
